Brine Cured Water Buffalo hides are seasonally available from September through to October from the northern regions of Australia. The Buffalo are slaughtered in licensed meatworks. Hides are brine cured and packed on to wooden pallets for export.
The hides are sold on the basis of Straight Run and include all weight ranges, 100% machine flayed a typical selection is 80/20 sound/cut. Parasite marks, open scratches and scars are extensively found on the grain side of these hides.
The quantity of hides per 20' container will vary depending on the average weight of the hides.
