Domesticated animals born and bred on Deer farms throughout Australia
are slaughtered for human consumption in licensed game meatworks.
100% Machine Flayed Abattoirs Run Selection excluding badly cut & torn skins
are drum salted in agitators with fresh coarse refined salt containing chemicals
for the elimination of bacteria at time of curing.

First Grade
Good shape, prime free or practically free from defects may carry light to medium healed scars, and/or parasite marks, and/or knife cuts near the skin edges.

Seconds
May be slightly misshapen, some unhealed scars or parasite marks, frequent healed scars, and/or small knife cuts, or other defects, in the prime area.

Thirds
May be slightly misshapen or show unhealed scars and/or parasite marks. May have knife holes and include defects such as bruising that will reduce the usable area of the skin other than for printed leathers.

Fourths & Rejects
These skins are excluded from offer and are sold to the domestic market.
